MISSION AND VISION

To produce an inclusive event highlighting Revelstoke’s community spirit.

Vision: A three-day celebration that offers something for everyone. The Winter Carnival invites the community to get involved while providing a unique visitor experience. This event aims to showcase Revelstoke’s local businesses, host unique fun community-driven events, and offer world-class music while raising money for local non-profits.

Carnival Goals:

  • Produce a safe, inclusive and community-driven event.
  • Bring awareness, raise funds and drive membership to the non-profits involved.
  • Highlight and create enthusiasm for winter activities within city limits.
  • Provide financial opportunities for local businesses and independent contractors.
  • Provide volunteer opportunities & economic impact.

Reviving and producing a large-scale event takes a great deal of time, energy and resources. We appreciate any support you might be able to contribute. Donations go towards offsetting Production costs such as insurance, porta-potties, artist fees, ticketing fees, administrative support, marketing and more.

EVENT SCOPE

The Revelstoke Winter Carnival aims to host a unique event that combines winter sport, music and community engagement while raising funds for non-profits. The Carnival invites visitors to Revelstoke’s downtown and our unique trail system for fun that is suitable for the entire family.  We wish to revive this historic celebration and bring community together. 

COMMUNITY BENEFITS:

  • Fosters community engagement, collaboration, and entertainment
  • Allows non-profits to ‘host’ an event to raise money and membership
  • Attracts visitors 
  • Increases regional, national, and international exposure
  • Showcases international music talent and athletes within a ‘festival’ type experience
