Scrolling social media one day, there was a post with a picture of the Revelstoke Winter Carnival from what had to have been in the 80's. Old snowmobiles chiming down Mackenzie Ave - downtown Revelstoke. The hair was big and wild and the helmets even bigger. We won't even mention the mustaches… 

There must have been 50 comments or so - so many people wishing for that old Carnival daze. This got me thinking…Let's bring back the Revelstoke Winter Carnival! Let's weave the great history and tradition of the Carnival with the vibrancy of 2024. 

Off to the City, I went to propose my grande idea….
